On 19/08/2024, in the Patlikuhal area of Kullu, Himachal Pradesh, which is about 18 km before Manali, an out-of-control speeding car (Maruti Suzuki Eeco) hit 4 people walking on the roadside. 4 people were struck by the car and are seriously injured. A CCTV video from a local shop shows that the car was overspeeding and the driver lost control, causing the car to skid and hit the three pedestrians on the roadside before overturning.
What Can Be The Cause Of Accident?
According to local reports, the accident was caused by overspeeding and the wet condition of the road. The negligence of one driver has led to the suffering of four individuals. The injured victims have been identified as laborers from Jammu and Kashmir working in the area. There were five people in total; one was fortunate enough to avoid being hit by the car, but the remaining four were not so lucky and became victims of the accident.
What Was The Condition Of The Victims
After being hit by the car, the injured individuals were taken to the local hospital by local residents. It was found that all four are severely injured, with one of them having sustained the most severe injuries, including multiple fractures in his legs and several broken bones in the rest of his body. The driver of the car has only sustained minor injuries.
